Re: Rear Bumper 850 96

I see two possibilities.

1. There is a single nut on each side of the car which attaches the bumper cover. It may be that the impact loosened one of these. To check:

- Open tailgate

- Fold up the fabric panel on the left-hand side of 4-door models. remove the left floor hatch and lift up a corner of the soundproofing on 5-door models.

- Check that the nut is secure.

For the right side, the nut is accessed on the outside from under the car. It is in the same relative position.

2. On the inside of each side of the bumper, there is a plastic assembly, molded into the bumper. This assembly anchors the square head bolt that fastens to the nut described above. It is possible that this assembly was damaged.
