WHy such acceleration with light pedal applied S60

I agree. I am not a fan of the non-smooth acceleration. I guess to some people that like to take off like a bat-out-of-H. There are times when I am going backward up my 90 foot inclined driveway that I need to weave in and out of our 4 cars. That darn zealous acceleration on a light pedal is dangerous.

My wife's 2007 V50 is a much, much smoother acceleration. Is this acceleration on light pedal part of what it means on the IPD site when you have the submodel choice of Light Pressure Turbo?
