Re: LCD clock light out - how to replace? 850 '94

Jp,

I'm not sure if the Haynes manual gets into it or not...however the manual is certainly worth acquiring...I highly recommend the "Lighting, instruments and other electrical components" manual from Volvo. #TP3501201, you can order it at 1-800-25-VOLVO. It goes into great detail including the removal of the dash and replacing bulbs...basically it's a zillion screws holding down the dash, then the instrument panel, (which is one big circuit board) clips/unclips from the front facia. It looks easy, just time consuming. You would want to use great care handling the instrument panel, (no dirt, etc:) and after replacing whatever, the dash would want to fit snug and tight, or you may encounter squeakes and rattles after the fact!

Good Luck!
