STUBBORN Axle Removal 850

So I was switching over to the winter tires on my son's 850 and I notice CV Joint Grease splatter around the wheel well. I purchased a rebuilt axle and transmission seal and proceed to remove and replace the axle. Having done several of these in the past along with numerous wheel bearing replacements, I thought I could knock this off in no time (Yes, I did remove the axle nut-haha). WRONG!!! I cannot get this axle to budge! I have PB Blaster'd the splines, banged on it, I have even rented an axle removal tool from Advance Auto with no success! It is in there for good. I am almost to the point of removing the Steering knuckle along with the driveshaft and replacing both as a last resort. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks in advance for any tips...
