Re: Side Turn Signal Installation V70-XC70 1998

Rich Dulina,

Luckily I keep all my paperwork and I read this board a lot. Here are the wiring instructions. I assume you have read how run the wires and are now at the stage that you need to hook the wries up to existing wires. I'll put thin in a step by step format, not because I think your are stupid, but because it's a lot easier.

1. After you thread the wires through the hole and over the wheel well, make sure you have them so they are hanging down and you can see them from under the car.

2. On the passenger side, the wires to the front head lamp are wrapped together by a black hose with a long slit in the hose.

3. Open the slit and you will see different color wires. For the passenger side, take your two wires fron your turn signal that you just installed and connect them to the blue/green wire (one wire with noth those colors on it), and the balck wire. IPD's kit came with a little blue connector that made life simple. I don't know what connector you have.

4. On the driver's side, again open the slit that holds all the wires in the hose.

5. Connect the two wires to the green wire and the black wire.

6. Make sure your connections are secure otherwise the blinkers won't work.
