Check Engine Light "AGAIN' V70-XC70 2001

Found the leak. I removed the back seat on the passenger's side. With little difficulty, I removed the round access panel that covers the fuel pump. The area was soaked in gasoline. It seems to be coming out of the top of the pump unit and not a hose which I thought would be the problem. I suspect that this will take care of some of it. However, I am not sure what else I will have to do. Car runs fine, but gas mileage is down (obviously). Have you ever replaced a fuel pump?
thanks for your response
