Link arm stops on my V70 are merely pads on the lower front suspension where the steering stops contact when at full lock. I was asea on this 'til I questioned a dealer. He said to rub a little grease on them or they will squeak loudly. If you never turn your wheels to full lock while moving, these will never come into play. Would be nice if the book had illustrated this. Enjoy.
