Recently, while installing the Group 6 throttle body on my T-5R I noticed what appears to be oily soot on the manifold side of the stock t.b. Also, there was a slight amount of oil coating the inside of the airpipe leading from the intercooler. I suspect(as does Group 6) a failing oil seal on the compressor side of the turbo. The car has 49k the last 2k from me. Is this a reasonable diagnosis and/or a common problem? Thanks for input.
