1. The torque strut arm is bolted to the engine bracket through the cracked bushing, and through the fire wall bracket with a smaller and more robust bushing.

2.--4. Not to be obnoxious, but I have a full set of shallow and deep sockets, and in the haste of doing the work, I just use whatever fits. My recollection was somewhere in the 13--17mm range.

5. Yes, I torqued them and used a spot of blue (medium strength) LocTite. Lots of vibrations there to help a bolt back itself out.
