OBD 2 scanner recommend that sees more does more

I have a simple cheap autel maxi scan(gift) obd2 scan tool that recently helped me solve some. It not all of my problems. Showed 10 codes but only defined two. When I hit reset it cleared codes. But clearly it didn't. Car was still showing issues so I had to bring it to dealer who found a bad fuel pressure sensor. Have to imagine that would have showed up with better scanner.
Need recommend on best obd2 scanner and reset tool for 02v70 and 05 xc70. price second to performance. Any and all advice greatly appreciated.
