Dead cylinder V70-XC70 1999

About 150,000 miles on my 1999 XC-70. Engine running fine one day. Driving on highway, starts to skip, missing on one cylinder. Changed coil, spark plug and fuel injector. No better. Compression test 5 lbs in number 1 cylinder. No noises, no warning. Never have seen such a thing. Any ideas? Broken compression ring? Cam follower collapsed?
