PNP Didn't Fix It 850 1995

Are you saying the tranny won't shift to 4th gear after it warms up? It is supposed to do that if the ATF is too hot. This rare phenom is usually relegated to over loaded cars going up long hills with the AC on and lower rpms.

Putting the probe into A-1 and pushing the button should always trigger a red light. Always. No codes is a blinking 1-1-1.

Check the ATF, make sure you have enough and it is not burned, very dark brown. You might want to spray water into the radiator and get out some of the dirt covering the cooling fins. You might also want to flush the ATF.
