2007 V50 -- no fuel filter replacment? V50

Reading a maintenance schedule I see that certain 2007 V50 cars do not have a replaceable fuel filter. Is that true?

"If the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) has the numbers 38; 39; 64 or 68 at the 6th and 7th numbers the filter is not replaceable."

My VIN 6th and 7th number starting from the left is
*****68

Last night my said the car threw a code. I checked it this morning and it was P0300. The car has close to 100,000 miles on it and I first thought possible fuel starvation for a moment from a gas filter issue.

If I have no fuel filter then that is out of the question.
