PCV pressure after replacement 850 1995

"...How was the bottom drain on the PCV..."

Did you blow air into the lower oil return port, with the oil filler cap removed, to verify there was no restriction on the way back to the sump? Same thing with the port at the top of the engine.

A cylinder leak-down test may help you determine if there is simply too much blow-by for the PCV system to handle. At "only" 180,000 miles one would like to think that couldn't be possible. But if the PO wasn't into preventive maintenance then who knows.....?
