HU-650 Radio Transplant S80 2005

Does anyone know for certain what's involved with transplanting an HU-650 from a 2006 S80 to our 2005 S80 which is also equipped with an HU-650? The new-to-me radio was still operational in the recently wrecked 2006, and didn't seem to suffer the same issues as our original radio (Volume INCREASES when you turn the knob DOWN, station selection jumps around, etc.) I forgot to grab the radio manual from the donor car but the owner is going to check it out and see if it has a code in it.

I'm was really hoping the swap would be plug-n-play, but I'm having my doubts.
