Biggest difference AFAIK is that the original T5-R's had a 10 to 15 second 'overboost' which gave about 240hp and then it dropped back to 220hp. The 850R's were 'real' 240hp full-time.

There should also be some trim and color differences (the T5-R was only built in a few colors).
