Big leak in the passenger side floor 850 1994

This moring after big rain this week I found there is a big pool of water in the floor on the passenger side. carpet all soak up about .5 inch water..

car never been in accident no leak around the windshield...

so I look from the out side underneed the car I saw that there was 2 rubber plug about 2 inch ID... one of them is missing....

could this be the cause of the floor leak and big pool of water ??? what could it be the plug that missing is right under the passenger floor board...

any input is wellcome...
