All the web sites in the world can find you a good deal on a volvo.

Verifiable maintenance records (dealers keep records) and a proper examination by a good Volvo tech is the route to a decent Volvo.



Interestingly, the best used car that I have purchased was an '08 XC70 purchased from a Lincoln dealer, The car had new tires and brakes, 78k miles and light scratches on EVERY panel including the gas door! It was $6000 less than the average for dealer cars at Volvo shops.

I had it checked by my dealer, it needed a vacuum pump, all else looked good. I was able to check the maintenance records at the dealer that cared for the car.,

In a bit over two years and 15K I have done nothing but oil changes, although the sunroof developed a problem that I did not repair yet (I might not bother to repair it).

The next best was a Chevy that I bought from a Cadillac dealer.

You may not be able to find an older Volvo at a dealer, but good dealers sell good cars.
