Ok, update to resolve issue. Installed in order.

New fuel filter
Plugs, wires, rotor, cap -Bosch
MAF sensor Bosch

Codes p0171, P0301, p0201, p1310

When the MAF was installed the problem was solved.
The car needed the other items as routine maintenance

The codes were not specific to the MAF - I disconnected MAF and car ran better when hesitating even with the hesitation.

Based on responses on Internet, there was no definitive answer.
