Cleaning sunroof drains on 08 XC70 - Can it be done from below? V70-XC70 2008

Short question - Has anyone cleaned the sunroof drains from below?

Long story -

A couple of days after a night with extremely heavy rain, there was about an inch of water in the driver's side floor.

This had never happened in the two years we have driven the car.

Because of the delay, I could not find a clue about how the rain got in.

I vacuumed the carpets with a strong machine and ran small powerful fans to get rid of most (?) of the water.

A day later, I drove the car, and when I got home there was a ten foot long trail of water left as I turned out of my driveway. I surmised that it came from the front cowl - I took the cover off and found nothing that indicated that there was a water back-up - I did not find any debris.

I am now back to suspecting the sunroof drains.

Unfortunately, the sunroof is broken. I had the sunroof pulled and the tech could not find a problem, so I had the fuse pulled. The sunroof is in its proper closed position, does not look like it leaks excessively and there are no signs of leaks on the headliner.
