Interior lights not always working... S70 1998

Below the section that locks to the striker plate I can see two other micro switches.

The large piece of metal just below the lock. It slides toward the outside of the car. No, do NOT take the panel out of the car or replace the lock! Just spray some WD40 in the base of the switch to clean things out. Rock the switch by pulling on the door handle to release it.

If the dome lights come on, it is NOT the relay.

B.B.'s suggestion regarding the bulbs being burned out is valid.
