Suspension - what to replace V70-XC70

1998 V70R

Hi, after 225k miles I really just want to replace everything that I can that is suspension related. Also motor mounts. I'm reading up, looking at videos, compiling a shopping list. It's a pretty easy decision to replace rubber related components/bushings, e.g., tie rods ends, etc., but how about shocks, springs, rear nivomats (especially these). Since they are bigger ticket items, is there any chance that they are still good and how to test? I don't know how to tell if my nivomats are good for example. How to proceed.

All advice regarding suspension is more than welcome. These items start to add up quickly and get be difficult to justify the cost to the wife.

Thanks,

Wes
