Bearing noise

One of the items that run off the Serp. belt has a noise..
When I remove the belt and turn the pulleys by hand, and can't determine which device it is. I thought it was the tensioner pully, swapped it out, no change.
The power steering pump is the only device which has a tiny amount of play at the pully. Any foolproof methods for diagnosis, I have a stethiscope ( normal kind ) and I can hear the problem at all devices because they are all connected to the engine and the scope is so sensitive.
