Recommendations New to XC and V70

I had a 96 855 manual, loved it to death.
I bought it with 71k for $1,400. There go for way too much now... 200k+ for 2-3,000. Too rich for me. So it looks like ill focus on the v70 FWD. I've seen a few 09 s40s, and v50s in FWD and AWD in the 100k range for $2000. Ill keep looking.

I did find an 84 240 in great shape, but the OD and trans were suspect... Only $700!
