V70 "reduced engine performance' when using cruise V70-XC70

I have found that 'cruise' will give it more throttle than you would manually under the same circumstances. Losing 1 or 2 mph while going up steep hills is no big deal for the driver, but 'cruise' will try its darndest to keep the speed - try hitting resume at 35 when it is set to 65!

For others with the same error message, it has meant either a through cleaning of the throttle body and/or replacement of the Electronic Throttle Module $$$! If you clean it, try to also clean the throttle position sensor.

Keeping it running is better than buying new
