2010 C30 key gets stuck in ignition C30

Second posting for the same car (sorry!) My daughter's C30 starts right up, runs great, but when I drove it, I had a hard time getting the key out of the ignition when I stopped. Seemed like I had to turn it back on a little bit and then it loosened and came out. Is this normal or a sign of bad things to come? Thanks!!
