Catalytic converter recommendation request

Thanks for your help. Besides myself I'm hoping this thread helps someone in the future.

1. I got 175k miles from the original cat.
2. I got 225k miles from a direct fit by eastern catalytics, paid $425 about seven years ago. I did some research and was told DEC ($600) was the best aftermarket. Original volvo was $1,200. I think that's pretty good for aftermarket. (By the way, the CEL came on almost right away and stayed on for seven years.)

Right now a universal cat is about $100, and the direct fits range from $135 to $425. I'm not welding a universal and I don't want headaches from a direct fit that fails. Some direct fits ship from Canada. Today I ordered DEC (direct fit) from FCP and paid about $265 with a coupon code. I know they'll be around and I'm pretty sure they'll warrant it too. They also have a lifetime warranty on everything but at 400k miles I'd be happy to get another 100k. My car has had a vacuum leak for most of it's life and no one could every find it.

Can I get 500k miles on a P2?
