1999 V70 RPM drops/stalls when coming to a stop V70-XC70 1999

I have 1999 v70 manual trans with approx 288k miles.

It has started occasionally dropping RPMs when coming to a stop, ie - when I put in the clutch and before cars stops rolling. Sometimes so low it stalls, sometimes bounces back. If it does bounce back it holds nice and steady at about 800 RPM. Other than that the car seems to drive normally, although it not be my imagination but sometimes feels like a little stumble crusing on the highway.

I'm due to change plugs (40k on these) and oil recently changed, but this seems like something more. Any ideas.
