He bought a kit from Ebay, around $150, in 2013.

Cable replacement: OE should work just fine, it is usually just the inch before the battery clamp that is required. That is where most of the corrosion takes place.

There is never a good time to do the PCV! Matthews Volvo site has some good mods rather than stock replacement piping. Search for it.

I had some left over 12mm silicone vacuum lines, I split them down the middle and they made excellent covers for the wiring looms. A little black tape water proofed them.
