Resolved S40-V40 2005

Picked up the car on Saturday. Fiddled with it to locate the dead cylinder by removing injector wires (thanks Volvo for making that so easy to do); then drove it home with the #1 injector disconnected. Drove OK over 2K rpm.

Popped a new coil in it and immediately it cleared up and revved smooth. Hooray!

Now to move on to the rest of the car. New rear brakes on order, need to figure out what to do about a tire leaking at the bead of a corroded wheel, a damp/chemical smelling interior, sagging headliner, and a new drivers floormat. If I can get all that fingered out then maybe I can dig the audio unit out to extract the CDs stuck in it.

Excited to be back in a Volvo. Been driving a Honda Odyssey and I'm tired of it.
