"Engine System Service Required'? V70-XC70 2005

Take the car to an auto parts store, they will either check the codes for you, or give you a scanner for parking lot use. If you don't know how to use a scanner, they will show you how. It is FREE.

Write down the Pnnnn code(s) the scanner will show. Most scanners even write, in English, what is wrong. Write that down also.

A check engine light should never be ignored, on any of your cars, even the older ones.
