Windshield Washer Pump S40-V40 2010

Daughter (distant location) reports that windshield washer, used almost daily, is no longer working. Reservoir is full, so I asked her to listen for the pump motor whirling sound when washer switch is activated. No whirl, no fluid through the nozzles. Next step: she'll check the mini-fuse located in the fuse box under the glove compartment. But, I suspect with such frequent use, the washer pump motor has died.

I'll order a new washer pump and replace it when I visit in two weeks. I'm not very familiar with the S40 configuration, other than knowing that the washer reservoir is located at the left front of the engine compartment and it looks like a tight fit when accessing anything.

Any experience out there with removing/replacing the S40 windshield washer pump?
