Swapping driver's with passenger's seat? Is this possible?

I have an '04 XC90. The driver's seat is torn, the seat heater doesn't work, and the lumbar support is broken. The passenger seat is fine.

This is either a really stupid question or an intriguing possibility. Can I swap the two sides? I know that I would have to swap the electronic controls as well and that the lumbar support knob would then be on the wrong side, but is it possible to do that (swap the electronics)? It occurred to me that perhaps the seats might be the same and then just have the electronics attached later.

Thanks
