2001 XC70 PCV issue V70-XC70

Removing the crankcase is a problem! Did you try the glove test first? Usually, the port to the crankcase is clogged where you can see the crud, The port makes a 90 degree bend down to the bottom of the crankcase and you can check that with a bent coat hanger.

The PTC nipple may be clogged. On Matthew's Volvo site, they suggest a larger hose to the air intake.

Where is the oil leaking?
