2004 XC70 MAF sensor reading Problems? Fluctuating Idle V70-XC70

Klaus,

The front O2 has 3k miles on it.

By fresh air tubes, do you mean from the air dam to the air filter box? If so, it seems good. How critical is it? All the other turbo piping has been smoke tested to 20psi and shows no leaks.

It has been awhile since the pvc was cleaned but I couldn't find the exact mileage. With the engine running, there's no smoke from the dipstick tube so I thought it was ok for now.

I haven't checked the ptc and it has 150k miles on it. I'll test it.

Thanks for the good ideas!

Jim
