Changing rear strut/shocks on P2 V70-XC70 2004

A month shy of 7 years following your post, it came to me as a wonderful relief when I found it. 2006 XC-70 103K miles, finally decided to upgrade the sway bars. I was told the front bar was a nightmare to replace, it was very bad but not quite as horrid as I was told. I was also told the rear sway bsr replacement was a 30 minute job, my source of information didn't know that AWD versions used a strut, not a shock. The come-along did the job after I ripped the strap I was trying to use.
