Replacement procedure for rear strut/shock V70-XC70 2012

Hi, winter and wet & cold spring appears to have come to an abrupt end here in Central Vermont. So I am finally getting to replacing the rear struts/shocks on my 2012 XC70. Has anyone on this forum performed this procedure? I would like to do so without a lot of guesswork and removal of parts I didn't need to remove. Do I remove the rear seat bottom? Where do the strut tops bolt in, how do I access them & what needs to be removed? Any and all tricks and advice is very much welcomed and requested. Thanks everyone.
