AC issue (not consistent) 850

That connector doohicky at the firewall is called the pressostat, it will turn the compressor off if the pressure in the system gets too low.

You need to get under the car and re-check the clutch gap. If it is over .040 and hot outside, the compressor may not have enough strength to engage the clutch (electro magnetic). I have to do the same thing on my 850.
