Removing driver side drive axle

I could not get the driver side drive axle (CV joint assy) out of the tranny with
the pry bars shown on Youtube. I found this tool to work just great.



I did not need the shim, I just wedged the fork in from 6 O Clock and hit the end with a heavy hammer and it popped out very nicely.

I found this tool on Ebay for about $35
