MISSIMG SWAY BAR ON WAGON REAR END 850 1997

1997 850 GLT wagon
While working on my GLT wagon recently, I noticed that there is NO rear sway-bar mounted.
I don't have the money for an IPD sway-bar set, but was wondering if it was worth the time & effort to pull a stock one a junk-yard car.
Would a bar from a sedan work on a wagon, as I am led to believe that more sedans had them than wagons.
Thanks
Peter
