UPDATE: Potential transmission leak... V70-XC70 2007

All,

So I finally got under the car today and removed the belly pan.

The good news is that I don't have a transmission leak.

The bad news is that I have a transfer case leak at the pinion seal, so the transfer case has to come out to be fixed.

Believe the issue is that I put the wrong seal in the transfer case.

I say this because I pulled the angle gear out of an '06 S60 AWD car, and my car is a '07 XC70 AWD. Although Volvo states the seal I purchased for the replacement will fit 03-07, it is not the same part that I pulled out of the transfer case, therefore I ordered the wrong part and now need to order the correct part and reinstall.

UGH! I really do hate pulling that damn thing out. This will make the third time that I've had to do it.

Matt
