08 XC 70 Key issue

Last night my remote would not unlock the car. My wife brought the second key unit from home, that would not work either. Additionally, both mechanical keys would not unlock the car door. Called AAA, they got into the car with a device that tugged on the inside door handle. As soon as the door opened, the remotes both work fine. However. the mechanical keyes still fail. to unlock the door.
