V70 vibration V70-XC70 2004

I have a vibration that's making me crazy trying to figure it out.
Started out as what sounded like bad motor mounts (all of a sudden) when lightly engaging throttle. Low pitch thudding sounds, disappears when adding throttle.
It got better for a day or so after I changed the top torque rod. Since changed all mounts and torque rods even the mounts for the engine bay cross for the upper torque rod. All mounts are Hutchinson. Did the loosen passenger side mount and shake motor around then retorqued. This made a difference for about 2 blocks.
Other things that started at same time. I hear but don't feel an out of round sound, kind of like a bad tire belt, increases with speed. Tires are Blizzaks and like new and were fine last winter. There is a hum from the engine bay that is there all the time. It gets more noticeable when accelerating but you don't feel a vibration at all. Noise is there coasting with clutch engaged or not.
Any ideas?
