Rear shock replacement C70 2004

I'd like to replace my rear shocks and am looking for any guidance. Front struts have been successfully replaced. From what I read getting to the top of the rear shocks means removing the rear seats. Removing the nut off the top of the shock looks challenging because the space is so tight. Is there a tool that makes the nut removal easier? All I find is a tool to remove the nut from the front strut. Does this tool remove the rear nut also? Any other words of wisdom are very much appreciated
