Quirky Dash Lights V70-XC70 2000

2000 V70/SE B5244S AW-55 Denso

Noticed some not-normal issues going on with the dash display lately:

- Dash lights will occasionally flicker or stay on for one second or so when switching Headlights from On to Off (daytime running lights). Switching ignition key to Off might do the same thing; Dash lights will flicker momentarily.

- Occasionally the liquid crystal display window where DIM Info is displayed (odometer, Trip, Ambient Temp, fuel mileage consumption, etc.) will revert momentarily to a display that reads "d i s c". After a second or two, it will switch back to the normal Info displays.

Any clues as to what these symptoms can tell us?
