Interior lights conversion to LED 850

I am posting this for B.B. Seems he forgot his password?? Bill has been changing all of his lights to LED and finally found some good ones on Bay. Here are his words:


I've been playing with LED upgrades in the 850 for several years and here is
a new offering better than the old substitute LEDs. The original LED had eight
SMD's and four were facing the wrong way, also the mechanical construction was
punk leading to failure and difficulty inserting into and removing from the socket
without breaking. The new cards don't have that problem.

The 24 SMD panel fits in the 850 map lights
The 9 SMD panel fits in the high door pillar lights for the back seat.
Note the door pillar lights have reverse polarity easy to switch with the little harness
connectors.
They are about $3 each, Much better lighting, and easy to install.
