RIP Draco, my dear friend.

Last October my daughter's 2008 C70, Draco, got T-boned by a dump-truck type semi that was full of sand and rocks. Easily 40,000+ lbs of truck and load. It hit her just at the rear of the driver's side door.

Long story short, Draco was totaled, my daughter had to be helped out of the passenger side of the car, but walked away to the ambulance. She had a very sore right shoulder and upper chest, and that was it. Poor little Draco held his ground and protected my daughter, in turn he actually managed to total the semi cab too!

I'll edit this post later on, when find the photos and post a few. It is not something that I like looking at.

Probably not necessary to say to fellow Volvo owners, but my daughter was adamant that she was going to replace Draco with another Volvo of some kind. She bought a 2013 C70, in the limited Flamenco Red metallic or crystal paint.

I'm not going to remove Draco from my signature, because he lives in my heart forever for sacrificing himself to save my daughter.
