Yellow accessory connector under the driver's side dash? Trying to learn

I wouldn't bother looking for a yellow connector. First, you don't know where it is fused, secondly, you really only want it 'hot' when the key is in position II. Your biggest concern is where to put a relay to operate the fog lights. The engine bay is the easiest, fewer wires to run through the firewall.

Use the diagram that B.B. wrote - quite easy. Just make sure the fuse holder is waterproof. The manual has a 20Amp fuse for fog lamps, and 15Amp for each headlight. I suspect 20Amp with the current wiring you have from Hella would be just fine.
