That all depends on what part of the country you live in. The Northeast 2016 xc70 with the 5 cyl engine are more expensive than those in the Southwest.

The XC60 is noisier than the XC70, has less carrying capacity, a bit less comfortable, less mpg, not as attractive, and if you want to put a top carrier on it - bring a step ladder.

The new V90CC has less storage room in the rear than the XC70. Of course, the 245/745 had much more storage than the 850 and newer wagons, along with better visibility to the rear.
