2008 XC70 - hood open errors after repair performed V70-XC70 2008

I will chime in. The mechanic screw up. Plain and simple. In his haste, he dislodged a wire that goes to the left front latch. This is also a security system problem as the car does not think the hood is closed when the car doors are locked.

It should be an easy 'fix'. Any reasonable mechanic should be able to find the hood latches (there are 2 of them) and find the wires. Take it back the the same repair shop and ask them to fix it.
